Tom Bowl Headquarters damaged in flood

Staff at Tom Bowl Headquarters learned first-hand the value of a sump pump.

Due to a malfunctioning sump pump an estimated four inches of water saturated a storage room at the Tom Bowl Headquarters damaging some of the archives. Luckily the damage was minimal and the letters from the various colleges were not involved in the deluge. However, some original stationary from the 1990 Tom Bowl, copies of letters sent to colleges and programs were soaked. Much of that was recovered, but is now wrinkled.
